BASE Staking Setup Guide

Be aware that the higher the amount of BASE you stake with the more likely you are to earn BASE interest.

1. Install a BASE wallet & let it synchronize to the network as demonstrated in the first part of our Masternode Setup Guide below

2. Make sure you have sent BASE coins into your wallet &
the coins received have 101 confirmations

3. In the BASE Core client, click Settings then Unlock Wallet…

4. Click “Unlock Wallet”

5. Tick the “For anonymization, automint, and staking only” option

6. Enter your password & click OK

Done. Your bottom right arrow will switch to green color & your hot wallet, staking, is set. Make sure to keep the wallet running in the background.

Staking rewards will appear in your recent transactions list &
your transactions tab on the left given enough time.
