Hey Bulldogs! I hope you’re having a great start to the semester! I’m still trying to keep up with my new year’s resolution of getting in shape, and what better way to do that than using our on-campus walking trails? Here are some easy ways you can use the Bulldog Trails to stay in shape!
1. Download the printable map. The walking trails range from 0.2 miles to 2.6 miles and take you all over campus. The blue and pink trails even pass right in front of my office at the Smittcamp Alumni House so you can drop in for a visit!
2. Choose the trail that works for you. Have some extra time between classes? Take a 0.7-mile walk from the Henry Madden Library over to Campus Pointe. Want a more intense walk? Take the green trail along the edge of campus down Shaw. There’s something for everyone!
3. Start feeling the benefits! Walking not only helps you burn body fat, but it also helps increase your energy and elevate your mood.
