My Social Self

Our social self relies on interactions with people. taking part in school activities helped me to enhance my social self and spending my time with my closest friends helped me to become more receptive to others and helped me to overcome my timidity. apart from this, culture is extremely necessary for the development of the social self in keeping with the definition of culture by Edward Tylor, it may be the same that culture contains a vast impact on an individual, and it can be shown in his or her thoughts and actions. I also learned the various models and it helped me to grasp others. Also, I noticed the distinction between “I” and “Me”. “I” is largely who we are, like our opinion in our self while “Me” is the awareness of however others expect one to behave.

Connections that we tend to create in our life affects and defines our character over time. In brief, it always starts during a familial setting. My life has been a battle of the “I & Me” story. With my friends and family, I used to be able to present my “I” aspect without reservations. That feeling once Understanding the Self felt therapy now and then put me in a sense of hope for others who are experiencing similar issues.
