Mozilla Pontoon Introduction

Hello everyone.First of all sorry for my bad English. I am trying to write this blog. Yesterday i was take a session in Neotech Institute of Technology Vadodara. This event is on Mozilla Pontoon and Bugzilla introduction. Mozilla Introduction taken By Dhruv Pandi, Pontoon Introduction is taken by Hariom Panchal, And Bugzilla Introduction is taken by Mohmmad Yahya.

First of all we ask some question to student. Like What is Mozilla ? What is Firefox ? Anyone interested to work or give contribution in open source ? but people never hear about open source and also it thinks Mozilla is web browser. and if we ask him again what is Firefox then also answered Firefox is also browser. To funny, I think most people doesn’t know about Mozilla. So first clear all doubt What is Mozilla and what is Firefox.

Then Dhruv Pandit gave first session on Mozilla introduction. and he saw history of Mozilla. Where Mozilla born. And what is main goal of Mozilla.he also ask features of Mozilla like how much Mozilla focusing on Privacy and Security. He also gave some practical demo. how Mozilla work on privacy and security. Then he saw tracking protection feature in Firefox and how it works.

After Mozilla introduction the next session is taken by Me and it’s on Pontoon Introduction. First i asked some question to students. and then start my session. I am talking on Localization. I am talking about localization benefits, localization important in our daily life’s, Etc. And also i am sharing my Mozilla journey with student. show a small demo to student how to start contribution in Mozilla Pontoon.

After completing my session the next session is MohammadYahya Mansuri. And it’s take session on Bugzilla. He introduce Bugzilla ,why Mozilla use Bugzilla, How to use Bugzilla, How to file bug reports on Bugzilla. Also he show what us bug and how we find out bugs, How to earn in dollar form bug reporting.

After Completing three session distribute Mozilla stickers in students.
