Hi there stranger

Hi,

I have been thinking of writing a blog about my thoughts or my thoughts on thoughts since a long time but I couldn’t bring myself to do it because:

a) I think I would suck at it and no one would find it good enough to finish till the end

b) There are already so many well written blogs about almost every topic on planet earth by writers with better intellect and vocabulary skills than me

c) I thought I had better things to do than this (didn’t end up doing that also)

d) No-one would be interested in reading about my thoughts

e) I want to be the best at what I do and anything below that is not good enough, so I fear even trying because I fear being average

Writing all the above points just made me more aware of how low I think of myself and it doesn’t make sense because essentially, you are your own cheerleader.There is no point comparing or measuring myself to someone else because I am always going to fall short, so I am going to do what I know the best and that is be me. The world is always going to treat you as a stranger and if you don’t think you yourself are good enough how do you expect strangers to think you are?

So, my self-diagnosis: Imposter Syndrome, Procrastination and self-doubt

all of which are separate topics which I do what to write about in the future. In this journey of writing, my purpose is by penning(typing) my thoughts and hearing yours, I (hopefully we) can evolve to be better emotionally and intellectually.

This is my first attempt at just starting. This post doesn’t have any advice or life lessons, just an acknowledgment to myself to be me and also a self-apology for not trying sooner.

So before I re-read it a 1000 times or delete it or think its a bad idea, I am just gonna post it and I would love to hear your thoughts!
