The birth of GatherInk

Brainstorming. It must be a trend nowadays. Everyone is brainstorming about everything. It wasn’t so different for our team as well. We all gathered in a coffee shop at the city’s center and started throwing out ideas about impressive projects for our innovation brand project.

We started out from the most impressive ones. An app that sends you to space, another one that gives you unlimited money and of course the one that can make your morning Americano coffee in seconds with the click of a button. While they all were incredibly impressive, they lacked the ability to become a reality.

After that, we started talking about completely irrelevant things from the brainstorming. I started talking about the new tattoo that I wanted. I wanted an old school tattoo with a particular concept behind it. I opened Pinterest, Facebook & Google in order to describe my idea.

A few moments later we started talking about an innovative online app that brings tattoo studios and consumers together. A content platform as well as an e-commerce platform.

It was the birth of GatherInk.
