How To Get Honest Feedback

24 is a new mobile messaging app for feedback.

1. How does 24 work?

Everyone gets their own personal inbox link which others can anonymously write messages to them. It’s like a personal suggestions / compliment box for people you know.

2. Can you reply to messages?

Yes. Chat anonymously with the people who wrote to you.

3. Do you need an account to write someone a message?

Yes. You need to download the app to write someone a message.

4. Couldn’t this be used for bullying?

At anytime, you can reset your inbox link. This generates a new link for people to write to you and disables the past link. 24 is a place for positivity.

5. What about privacy?

We take it very seriously. We do not share your data.

6. Is it really anonymous? Can they ever find out it’s me?

Yes. This is really anonymous. All messages are sent with end-to-end encryption. The only way for the receiver to know who you are is for you to tell them.

7. How is this different from Yik Yak or Ask.fm?

We are similar in that we are anonymous. We are different in that we focus on 1-to-1 / private DM chats instead of 1-to-many / public group chats.

8. Why create 24?

Sometimes you just want to have a short, temporary chat like when you ride in an Uber. So we thought it would be fun to recreate the Cinderella experience within an app. Every night, when the clock strikes 12, everything disappears. It’s a new form of storytelling.
